Help Send Emma and Heather Brice to MISTI-Con!
The Brices, Emma and her mother Heather, have always been magical and supportive members of the Harry Potter community! Members of both TGTSNBN and HP Salem, they have become recognized in the community as talented wizard rockers, imaginative cosplayers (especially as those lovable Weasley twins!), and energetic contributors at so many New England area Harry Potter events. Always ready to lend a hand, these generous women have given their time and talent whenever and wherever needed.
This summer, Colin Brice, their devoted father and husband, passed away. Colin was also an enthusiastic support of the Harry Potter community and his family’s merry mischief within it.
Colin’s death has, of course, immensely affected Emma and Heather. Through this difficult time, we in the HP community wanted to make a small gesture of thanks, as members of their extended fandom family.
If each of us makes just a small donation in honor of Emma and Heather, we can easily raise $750 to help send them to MISTI-Con next Spring! We are happy to report that this money will go entirely entirely toward their 4 nights in the Margate and some travel expenses.
We are thrilled to announce that through a generous donation of 1 pass by Chanteil Tenison (aka Chan Potter) and a matching donation by MISTI-Con, we have already confirmed registrations for both Emma and Heather. MISTI-Con has reserved both passes as VIP passes, ensuring that Emma and Heather can attend all the con’s programs, especially the Mother’s Day Brunch.
